YVES SALOMON is a brand with over 100 years
of history and expertise, starting in 1920 when
'Gregory Salomon' began the fur business
in Paris, France.
In the 1960s, his son 'Boris Salomon' gained
attention in the fashion industry with bold and
rich ideas, earning a reputation for collections
mainly inspired by colorful hues, patterns,
and pop art.
In 1972, Yves Salomon took the reins of the maison,
establishing close relationships with leading designers
of the time. In the 1980s, he founded his own design
studio and collaborated with iconic designers of the
era such as Azzedine Alaia, Nina Ricci, Thierry Mugler,
and Jean-Paul Gaultier, giving rise to the brand known
today as YVES SALOMON.
Departing from traditional fur processes, the house, with decades of expertise based
on the excellence of materials and innovative techniques, expanded into various lines today,
rooted in knowledge of fur, adaptable methods, and understanding.
In 2005, YVES SALOMON launched the 'ARMY' collection, inspired by vintage parkas and
designed to reveal a new urban sensibility.
Moreover, addressing contemporary environmental issues, YVES SALOMON prioritizes traceability and
environmental protection in its manufacturing processes.
